Food was generously and expertly provided by James Baker's much better half Corina and a big thank you has to go to James for the planning of the event. Thanks also to Mark Bunting for being barman for the evening, and to Fred for organising the nice new trophies.

Newton Flotman Football Club Annual Horse Race Night

Date: Saturday 10th October 2009

Location: Newton Flotman Village Hall

Newton Flotman Football Club held their annual Horse Race Night at the Village Hall and in the proceeds managed to raise £550 for club development. A big thank you to Mark "The Groundsman", Graham Burgess, Fred Harrod, Brian Glover, Owen Southgate and David Chamberlain for all of their hard work leading up to the event and on the night.

A big thank you must go to the players and supporters who turned up on the night and gave it the atmosphere that an event like this needs. Thank you also to those who purchased horses and of course a big thanks to our sponsors as listed on this page.

Without the help of the players, supporters and sponsors, the football club would not be able to develop and thus run the risk of folding into oblivion like so many local clubs have done in recent years. There will be more events later in the year and we ask that you continue to support your club to ensure that it thrives and improves throughout the coming years.
